Loulis Food Ingredients currently occupies the 1st position in the Greek Flour Industry in terms of production and distribution of bakery and confectionery raw materials, with four state-of-the-art production facilities in Sourpi, Keratsini, Theves, and Toshevo, Bulgaria. Loulis Group undertook a strategic digital transformation journey to unify and streamline its operations. With a strong focus on innovation and traceability, the company selected TEKA Systems as its trusted partner to implement SAP S/4HANA across its group of companies.

Project Description

The implementation of SAP ECC for Loulis faced several challenges, including:

rollout across multiple production plants in different countries with distinct business needs
integration with heterogeneous systems used in production, procurement, and sales processes and
specific interface requirements were necessary to support localized functionality for individual company codes within the group.

Despite these complexities, the project delivered significant benefits. Centralized monitoring of all core business processes across the group improved operational decision-making and responsiveness through real-time data availability. Seamless integration with TracePro for Production, Procurement, and Sales & Distribution, along with a custom interface with Buhler systems for managing flour silo operations, ensured precise control and automation.
